Welcome to the website of the Laureate Choirs!

Created more than 30 years ago in the form of a partnership with the great European international competitions (Arezzo in Italy, Debrecen in Hungary, Maribor in Slovenia, Tolosa in Spain, Tours in France and Varna in Bulgaria) and supported by the South PACA Region and the town of Vaison-la-Romaine, it allows us to invite the best ensembles awarded by juries of experts.

Every year at the end of July, these exceptional choirs bring us polyphonic excellence through varied and carefully prepared repertoires that will enchant you.

Concerts not to be missed!

A journey, this is what the Festival des Chœurs Lauréats offers you. A journey through voices.

A geographical journey made possible by the arrival of vocal cultures from all over the world offering themselves to our ears, each year in Vaison-la-Romaine. These choirs come to share their constant search for vocal and polyphonic excellence, and enchant us with and enchant us with their programs of infinite variety.

To this geographical journey is added a temporal journey, because what better than the voice to make us explore the whole range of the history of music: from the from the medieval monody of Gregorian chant, to the most current music, through more than through more than ten centuries of repertoire.

Finally, for us listeners, it is an inner journey, because the voice has this formidable quality that it touches the heart, abolishes the borders and unites us all by its
immediate accessibility.

So thank you to these exceptional choirs for coming to meet us, and thank you to you
listeners for sharing the stages of this great common journey that has been going on for 30 years now.
